PROJECT MISSION
Have you ever had the experience of a day passing by without you even noticing what you have done in a day? Have you ever wondered, “Where did all my time go? Have I put my time to productive use?" The objective of this project is to create a better solution to keep track of and manage our time through the development of a time-tracking app paired with the interactive feature of scanning NFC tags. NFC tags are smart tags that could send information to NFC readers, such as smartphones, through near field communication. The app allows users to pair NFC tags with customized tasks. By using smartphones to scan the tags to switch between different tasks, the app records how much time is spent on each task and generates daily reports. By understanding their use of time, users would be able to build up better time-management plans based on their habits and ultimately maintain a productive lifestyle.

01
SCAN CUSTOM NFC TAGS
Users can create customized NFC tags by writing task name on the NFC stickers and pairing the tags with the app. By scanning the NFC tag, the app will start tracking time. By scanning the tag again, the app will populate the timetable with the amount of time spent on the task. NFC tags are not only easy to navigate, they also physicalize and promote the notion of changing tasks. This would help users set the appropriate moods or attitudes for differing tasks.
TIMETABLE
The timetable present the tasks being recorded in a clear and chronological manner.
The tasks are color-coded using users' chosen color for the tasks. Users can also click on the tasks to view more detail. By creating a timetable as the main interface of the app, users are able to straightforwardly visualize how they have spent their time and understand how they are spending too much or too little time on particular tasks.

SUMMARY/REPORT
Daily/monthly reports are generated based on user reference. The report serves as a summary of how the users have spent their time and provides a pie chart for easy visualization. The users could also set up their goals and keep track of whether they are achieving them. Goals could be set as either thresholds or limits. For thresholds, users are trying to at least reach the amount of time set for the task. For limits, users should spend time less than the set limit for the task.
